At a time when Lebanon and its people continue to exert all efforts and resources to heal the deep pains and injures suffered from past wars, and to stabilize the pillars of national unity between all groups, to become a flourishing country, prosperous with security and peace; the hands of the Israelis reach out to once again attack its national security. Israeli hands have once more attacked the main infrastructure of Lebanon targeting central areas and blockading them by sea, air and land, opening for themselves the opportunity to shed the blood of innocents including children, women and the elderly. At the same time the Israeli forces are preventing the access of any humanitarian aid to reach the isolated victims.
Lebanon is now a devastated and catastrophic nation therefore as we strongly condemn the atrocity, the unjust and barbaric attacks upon Lebanon; a country which continues to search for bandages for its injured victims; we vehemently call on the Arab nations in particular and the nations of the world in general to step in and act in ceasing the attacks immediately and to help in providing all humanitarian needs to all inflicted Lebanese people.
